Abundance Network endorses Michael Tubbs for Lieutenant Governor of California.
Michael is a proven leader who, as Mayor of Stockton implemented one of the first guaranteed income pilots in the country, which sparked a national movement.
As a young father, Michael understands the impact of California’s housing crisis on the next generation. He will use his position on the governing bodies of both the UC and CSU systems and as chair of the State Lands Commission, to advocate for more development of state land for affordable housing.
We are excited about Michael’s plans to modernize public higher education in California by connecting CalFresh enrollment directly to the financial aid system and make contact information available for CSU Board of Trustees members.
Michael is a trailblazer and we are excited about his reimagining of the Lt. Governor position to address the real shortages our state faces today.
